Happy Birthday Baby V

I know I have not posted in quite a while. It has been one busy summer. I just want to post a quick Happy Birthday to my niece - V.

Today, you are 2 years old! I want you to have the very best birthday ever! My wish is that this will be the last birthday that you have to spend in foster care. Next year, you will be here in Las Vegas!!! I can hardly Wait. I love you!

He Loves Me? He Loves Me Not? - HE LOVES ME!!

Tonight, I finally heard those words I have been waiting to hear for almost 2 years - "I Love You, Too" He has never let those words fall out of his mouth regarding me in my presence. He has told others (not many) that he loves me. Ahhhhhh.....it feels so good!!

She Did It!!!!!!!!!

On 6/9/2008 Skylar was honored after 12 years (13 if you count Kindergarten) with an Advanced Diploma from Cimarron Memorial High School. She is now UNLV bound. So far her major is in Nursing. I am so proud of her! The graduation was awesome and the grad dinner was even better. We had reserved the patio at Marc's Italian Steakhouse (awesome food) and enjoyed excellent food, fine wine, and great conversation. I am so excited to watch Sky grow into a fabulous woman.
